Shipping & Couriers
Please note that quoted delivery times are those guaranteed by the courier service and not Tekheads.co.uk. There are no premium rate, refundable charges for delivery, the charges reflect only those imposed on us by the couriers. Orders are not guaranteed to leave our warehouse the same day for next day delivery although we do try our best to dispatch every order as soon as possible.
Tekheads.co.uk operates a warehouse in Lincoln, UK and a range of suppliers across the country that can drop ship larger items to our customers.
Please note: Tekheads.co.uk will only ship first time orders to the registered cardholder's address. The delivery address much match the address your card is registered to. We can also ship to valid work addresses and provide flexible delivery address options on future order.
We use Interlink Express and Royal Mail to deliver packages to our customers nationally and Royal Mail and Target to deliver packages internationally. Your choice of courier and delivery times vary by weight and for international orders volumtric weight can affect your shipping costs. As always, we are continually looking at every process possible that will enable us to deliver products to you at unbeatable prices and presently we feel our current choices of courier are cost effective and efficient, allowing us to pass shipping savings on to our customers.
InterLink
Interlink operate between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30 for standard next day deliveries. Please be aware that as part our fraud protection all consignments that leave our warehouse through Interlink are dispatched as signee only. This means that only the signature of the person specified on the delivery address for the order will be accepted to take receipt of the goods. If there are exceptional circumstances under which you will not be able to sign for your goods please contact us via email after placing your order and we attempt to make appropriate arrangements.
National
Please note, orders for Saturday delivery, pre noon, morning and afternoon or for Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man can be subject to a surcharge of up to £20.00. Orders placed on a Saturday or the preceding Friday night will not arrive on that same Saturday.
All customers can track their orders online using the tracking numbers provided by each courier. These will become available on your order history within a couple of hours or at the end of the day.
Please note Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man service is a 2 day service.
Ireland (2 Day Service)
Ireland orders up to a weight of 2kg can ship via Royal Mail International Signed For. This service usually costs under £10. Parcels over this weight must be shipped via our courier service.
Sometimes, large items with a light overall weight can be charged according to the space they take up on aircraft and in these cases volumetric weight, or dimensional weight, is used to calculate the shipment cost. The greater the weight of the package in actual weight vs. volumetric weight is used to work out the price that we charge you.
